The main condition for safety during the hunt is strict discipline, knowledge of the rules and their clear implementation by all participants in the process. We share with you some tips and rules and hope that this information will be useful to you.
- ► All hunters should have brightly colored items on their clothing. Don't worry that this will make you easy prey for the forest dwellers, because most of the time they cannot distinguish colors, but you will be more noticeable for your friends in the woods, in the rain or in the snow.
- ► Clothing should be made of fabric that does not rustle and does not create extraneous noise.
- ► Your equipment and yourself must be free of odor. Use fragrance-free detergent or rinse aid, and it is better to air your clothes outside a few days before the hunt. You should not shave or use colognes before hunting.
- ► Clothing should be as elaborate as possible, comfortable, not restricting movement, breathable, warm and effectively dissipate moisture from the body.
ABOUT BEHAVIOR ON THE ROOM
Every hunter should first of all prepare his place and make it comfortable (remove leaves, snow). Next you must check where other hunters are standing and then you may load your gun and take your position. Weapons should be on the safety lock at all times. Important: put away everything that might distract you and concentrate as much as possible.
We mentioned above that the animal can't distinguish colors but it can smell and move around easily. If you hear the sound of approaching prey, wait till it is in the shooting range and then act. Remember to do everything smoothly and calmly without too much movement or screaming.
► In a hoofed animal, according to the law, you can only shoot with a bullet.
► Shooting into the corral with a smooth firearm is allowed at an angle of 45 degrees when at least 200 meters to the corral.
► It is strictly forbidden to shoot at the number line, in this case the bullet may ricochet.
► A rifled weapon may only be fired at a 45 degree angle to the squad, bisected by the conventional perpendicular line to the number line.
If the shot is successful and you hit the target, you must notify the hunt manager.
► It is strictly forbidden to leave the room at the steward's command.
► In the case of prey, do not approach it from the side of the head. It is important to always approach with a loaded gun and look at the ears and withers. If the ears are pinned and the withers stick out, the animal is alive and must be killed with a second shot. When the hunt is over, unload the gun when you come out of the room.
► Do not shoot at females.
► Do not shoot an animal if it is heading for your companion.
► Do not shoot foxes or hares when hunting ungulate animals, even if you have a shot.
► Do not smoke on the number.
► Do not sit down.
► Mute your phone and maintain silence.
