The UBACS was developed in the USA for hot conditions and stands for “Under Body Armor Combat Shirt,” meaning a combat shirt worn under body armor.
The name itself speaks to the main purpose of this item – to provide maximum comfort when using a plate carrier or body armor in warm weather.
Now, we are also introducing long-awaited combat shirt models from our brand.
Our designers have developed the Blitz model UBACS – a tactical shirt thoughtfully designed down to the smallest detail, made from high-tech fabrics and with an athletic cut. This model is recommended for officers.
Why does our Blitz UBACS look exactly like this?
- The shirt has a stand-up collar with velcro. Open – for formal meetings and maximum breathability; fully closed – for protection from wind and chafing from the plate carrier.
- Thanks to the velcro and the collar's design, it unfastens quickly and easily, doesn't pinch the beard, and doesn't chafe. When closed, there's also enough space to wear a buff.
- The chest area is covered with the main fabric to protect it from chafing by the plate carrier and from rapid deterioration of its appearance.
- Two velcro patches are provided on the chest for ID patches.
- Pockets with velcro on the sleeves with zippers. They offer quick access without unnecessary external flaps, which prevents snagging on bushes/trees. Zipper pulls for ease of use with gloves.
- Elbow pads are inserted vertically from the top to prevent dirt from accumulating when crawling and to prevent the elbow pad from falling out. The elbow pad pocket closes with velcro.
- The sleeve cuffs are adjustable with a velcro cuff.
- The shirt has raglan sleeves for additional comfort.
- An elastic insert was added to the neck for maximum freedom of movement.
- The torso part is athletically designed to fit snugly for quick moisture wicking.
- Lightweight moisture-wicking fabric extends under the armpit area to wick away moisture from areas of intense perspiration.
- Our UBACS is elongated at the back to prevent the back from being exposed during active movements.
The second UBACS model is Raid. It is positioned as a field model with a zipper instead of velcro in the chest and collar area, and the chest area is made of moisture-wicking material.
Why does our Raid UBACS look exactly like this?
- The shirt has a stand-up collar with a zipper and beard anti-pinch protection.
- The chest area is covered with moisture-wicking fabric to more effectively wick away moisture during active movement in warm weather.
- Pockets with velcro on the sleeves with zippers. They offer quick access without unnecessary external flaps, which prevents snagging on bushes/trees. Zipper pulls for ease of use with gloves.
- Elbow pads are inserted vertically from the top to prevent dirt from accumulating when crawling and to prevent the elbow pad from falling out. The elbow pad pocket closes with velcro.

What materials are they made from?

The sleeves and chest part, depending on the color, are available in several options:
In Olive and Multicam: Twill (55% cotton/45% polyester: 195 g/m²). This is a reinforced and lightweight fabric that has impressive breathability and vapor permeability. Therefore, it is best suited for hot weather.
In MM14 and dark blue (first version): Rip-Stop CVC (65% cotton/35% polyester: 230 g/m²). This is a durable and reinforced fabric with water-resistant impregnation. This particular Rip-Stop CVC variant is softer than usual and more breathable.
In dark blue (2nd and 3rd versions): Rip-Stop LT (65% polyester/32% cotton/3% elastane: 160 g/m²). This is a reinforced, durable, and hypoallergenic fabric. This type of Rip-Stop has reduced density, elastane in the composition, and water protection.
In black: Rip-Stop Flex (65% polyester, 32% cotton, 3% elastane). This is a durable and strong fabric, in which a reinforced thread is woven into the material every 5-7 mm, which increases wear resistance and prevents tears from spreading.
- The torso in the first versions is made of CoolPass Pique.
This is a polyester fabric made of smart fibers. The main feature of this material is that it quickly absorbs moisture from the body, distributes it over a large area, and evaporates it to the outside. This fabric also has high elasticity, does not deform, does not lose its shape, does not fade, and is very light. The properties of the fabric allow for effective thermoregulation and protect a person from sweating during active movement in hot weather. It has UV protection and antibacterial impregnation.
- The torso in the updated versions is made of CoolPass Air 2.0.
The fabric retained the advantages of CoolPass Pique, but became even better. This is a new generation of CoolPass fabric, which has become even more wear-resistant and snag-resistant. Thanks to the updated weave, with an increase in density, vapor and breathability have become even better.

- "Everlasting" cuffs with Molded Hook: they can only be destroyed physically; they are not afraid of extreme temperatures; they do not break because they are flexible; they do not lose functionality due to dirt; they reliably hold the velcro against shifting.
