Plate Carrier Kharakternyk Fast MC

A plate carrier is a central and one of the most important elements of military equipment – it’s the foundation!

With this understanding, we approached the development of the Kharakternyk Fast plate carrier responsibly, together with TurGear - one of the best Ukrainian manufacturers of tactical equipment.

The plate carrier has wide functionality that will cover the needs of most infantrymen. It is not overloaded with unnecessary elements that would complicate the design and make it more expensive.

We chose reliable fabric and hardware that will definitely not fail in the most difficult situations.

The plate carrier will fit comfortably on people who wear sizes M-XL.

The plate carrier is designed for standard size plates: M 25 cm (width) * 30 cm (height) with a sloped top.

Now about the main elements of our plate carrier:

Quick release system — We added a quick release capability to all attachment elements: on 2 shoulder straps and on the cummerbund attachments on both sides. It is important to be able to drop the plate carrier in emergency situations, in any position.

Quick releases from the Korean manufacturer Woojin, specially designed for military equipment.

The quick release pulls are conveniently shaped to make them easy to find blindly even with gloves on, and to open them quickly by pulling them and pulling in the desired direction (side ones - down, on the right shoulder - right, on the left - left). Their shape also prevents the puller from getting stuck in the quick release, which could disable it.

Height and volume adjustment — A plate carrier is used in very different conditions: activity level, season, tasks. Therefore, it is important that it is adaptable and adjustable.

Shoulder straps can be adjusted using Velcro, which is sewn along the entire length of the straps, so it will be comfortable to adjust for people of different heights.

The side cummerbunds are adjusted at the back, using strong straps and double-slot rings, which are attached to an elastic insert, so the cummerbunds will not be rigidly fixed, but will provide you with freedom of movement.

Thanks to the adjustment, you can perfectly fit the plate carrier to yourself, especially when the season changes and you need to use even more clothing.

Full-fledged cummerbunds with space for ballistic inserts — The cummerbunds have 3 rows of MOLLE webbing each, to comfortably place the necessary equipment.

The cummerbunds can accommodate ballistic inserts or plates up to 15 cm (height) * 35 cm (width). Increasing the area of protection is very important for the soldier's safety.

On the inside, a panel with 2 soft 3D mesh "pads" is attached with Velcro, which improves your comfort. There is space between them, which ensures air circulation and prevents sweating. If necessary, they can be removed for washing or replacement.

Removable and soft shoulder pads — The shoulder pads have an inner surface made of soft 3D mesh, which improves comfort of use, as almost all the weight of the ammunition falls on them. They are attached to the shoulder straps with Velcro and also have an attachment for a hydration tube.

Thanks to the removable design, the shoulder pads can be easily replaced or removed for washing.

MOLLE system on the front and back — The entire front and back surfaces are equipped with MOLLE webbing, which allows you to place additional equipment for quick access to it and assemble a complex for your comfort and tasks.

On the front, the upper part of the webbing is duplicated with Velcro patches for patches or additional equipment attachment.

3D mesh — The inner parts of the plate carrier contain 4 "pads" of soft 3D mesh, which provide comfort and prevent chafing. There is space between them, which ensures air circulation and prevents sweating.

Armor plate fixation — Inside the plate carrier, for reliable fixation of armor plates, there are wide straps that are fixed with Velcro, so the plates will be securely fastened during any activity. And thanks to the wide Velcro, which closes the compartments for plates, you can attach additional equipment: a groin protector, horizontal pouches, lower back protection, etc.

Additional elements — On the front surface, at the top, there are 2 D-rings for attaching equipment or accessories.

On the back surface, at the top, an evacuation handle is securely attached.

Materials and production — The plate carrier is made of durable and wear-resistant Cordura nylon fabric, with a thread density of 1000D and a polyurethane coating (protects against moisture and dirt penetrating inside).

This guarantees high quality of the product and durability of the plate carrier. Also, long-term resistance to fading.

The plate carrier is manufactured on professional equipment designed specifically for making equipment.

All elements have reinforced seams and bar-tacks, so you can be sure of the reliability of the product.
